Indonesian engineers build at the standard their peers in the US and Europe do. That is not a hopeful claim — it is what the work shows, once someone is handed the brief and given room to do it.
What is missing is not capability. It is the path: the introductions, the employment structure, the compliance, the thousand practical details that stop a good engineer here and a good company there from ever meeting.
He set out to solve that for himself. It became obvious the same solution worked for everyone.
